Hello, I’m Barshani Seksaria, an architect and the founder of 9 Direction Studio, where I design spaces that are thoughtful, functional and timeless. I believe every project tells a unique story, and my role is to transform ideas into spaces that reflect the people who use them.
From homes and workspaces to healthcare and hospitality projects, I enjoy creating designs that balance creativity, practicality and attention to detail. My goal is simple: to design spaces that not only look beautiful but also feel right.

A building faces eight directions and has an inner centre. A good design pays attention to all of them: the sun, the wind, the street, the garden, and the quiet middle where people actually live.

A detailed site visit to understand the existing conditions, context, opportunities and challenges, while we discuss your aspirations and expectations.

Requirement analysis
A comprehensive requirement sheet that captures your functional needs, lifestyle preferences, budget and project goals.

Concept development
An initial concept plan reflecting the project's vision, spatial planning and design direction.

Discussion and refinement
The concept is reviewed together, followed by brainstorming and revisions until the design aligns with your requirements.

Finalisation and budgeting
Once the concept is approved, we develop the detailed design, finalise scope and pricing, and prepare construction drawings and documentation.

Construction preparation
With everything finalised, the project moves into execution with complete technical documentation, for a smooth transition from design to construction.
